How airport pickup works
Book online and choose Sarajevo Airport as your pickup place. The total price is shown before you confirm.
Send us your flight details after booking, on WhatsApp (+387 62 046 142) or by e-mail, so we know when you land.
Message us when you land. A member of our team meets you at the airport with your car.
Sign the contract and check the car together. We fill in the check-out form (mileage, fuel, any existing marks, photos), and we both sign it.
Leave the cash deposit (from €200, depending on the car) and drive off.
The whole thing usually takes a few minutes. Every car is clean, has a full tank and is automatic, with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, so you can set up your navigation before you leave the car park.
What to bring
A valid driving licence, the original
A passport or ID card
Cash for the deposit, from €200 depending on the car. No credit card is needed
An International Driving Permit, if your licence isn't in the Latin alphabet
The drive into the centre takes about 20–25 minutes outside rush hour. You follow the main road that runs east through the city towards Baščaršija and the old town.
Rush hour is roughly 7:30–9:00 and 15:30–18:00 on weekdays. Allow extra time.
Headlights must be on at all times, day and night.
Parking in the centre is paid 24/7. If you're staying in the old town, ask your host about parking before you arrive, or use the parking across from the City Hall (Vijećnica).
Prefer not to drive into the city on day one? We can deliver the car to your address in Sarajevo instead, for 29.34 KM (about €15) each way.
Fill the tank before you return the car. Leave some time for this on the way to the airport.
Agree the return time with us, usually based on your flight time.
Meet our team at the airport. We check the car together, fill in the check-in form and both sign it.
Get your deposit back in cash, straight away, if the car is returned without new damage and with the agreed fuel level.
Tip: the Tunnel of Hope museum is just a few minutes from the airport, so it's an easy last stop before your flight. Allow about an hour.
Late, early and delayed flights
Arriving late at night or very early? Tell us your flight time when you book, so we can plan your pickup.
Flight delayed? Message us on WhatsApp. In winter, fog sometimes delays or diverts flights to Sarajevo, and we'll adjust your pickup.
Changing your plans? Cancellation is free up to 72 hours before pickup.
One-way rentals to other airports
You don't have to return the car in Sarajevo. You can pick up or return it in another city or country for an extra fee. Customers often fly into Sarajevo and return the car at Tivat airport near Kotor, or at other airports nearby. Message us on WhatsApp with your plans and we'll give you an exact price.
Driving abroad? Add cross-border travel to your booking. It costs 97.79 KM (about €50) in total for Croatia, Montenegro and Serbia, and we give you the green card.
