If you need a car in Sarajevo for two weeks or longer, long-term rental is usually much cheaper than renting day by day. Who long-term rental is for
- Diaspora visiting home. Many Bosnian families living abroad spend the whole summer or the winter holidays in Bosnia and need a car for every day of it.
- Remote workers and digital nomads staying in Sarajevo for a month or more.
- Business stays and projects, when you need a car for weeks at a time.
- Locals between cars, for example while your own car is being repaired or while you wait for a new one.
- Long road trips around Bosnia and the Balkans.

The discount is applied automatically when you book online, so you see the final price before you confirm.
Daily prices depend on the car and the season. Winter, spring and autumn are cheaper than summer, so a long stay outside July and August costs noticeably less. See live prices for your dates on our fleet page.
What's included
Every long-term rental includes the same as a short one:
- Full insurance (tyres and windows are not covered)
- Unlimited kilometres in Bosnia and Herzegovina
- 24/7 roadside assistance
- An automatic gearbox, as every car in our fleet is automatic
- Apple CarPlay or Android Auto
- Winter tyres from 1 November to 1 April
- A free additional driver, useful when the whole family drives
Extras such as a child seat (7.82 KM, about €4, per day) or cross-border travel can be added to the booking.
Choosing the right car for a long stay

Over a month, a smaller car can save you a lot on fuel. We recommend filling up at HIFA stations: our customers get a HIFA card with a fuel discount.
Pickup, delivery and documents
- Pickup: free at Sarajevo Airport or our office, or delivered to your address in Sarajevo for 29.34 KM (about €15) each way.
- Documents: a valid driving licence and a passport or ID card. You must be at least 20 years old.
- Deposit: in cash, from €200 depending on the car, returned when you bring the car back. No credit card is needed.
- Payment: cash, debit card or credit card. Online card payments are charged in KM.

Extending, changing or ending early
- Want to keep the car longer? Message us on WhatsApp (+387 62 046 142) before your return date. Extensions depend on availability, so ask as early as possible, especially in summer.
- Changing your dates before pickup: changes depend on availability and can change the price. Cancellation is free up to 72 hours before pickup.
- Returning early: unused days after an early return aren't refunded unless we agree otherwise in writing, so book the length you really need, and extend if your plans change.
- Something wrong with the car? Call us right away. Our assistance is available 24/7.
Driving abroad during a long rental
A long stay is a good chance to see the neighbouring countries. Add cross-border travel to your booking: 97.79 KM (about €50) in total for Croatia, Montenegro and Serbia, and 39.12 KM (about €20) for each additional European country. We give you the green card and the papers you need at the border.
You can also end your rental in another city or country, for example at Tivat airport near Kotor, for an extra fee. Ask us on WhatsApp for a price.
Tips to save money
- Need 27 days or more? Check the price for 30. With the 10% discount, the extra days cost very little.
- Travel outside July and August, when daily prices are highest.
- Pick up at the airport or our office, which is free.
- Choose a smaller car if you mostly drive in the city.
- Book early for summer and the New Year holidays, when long-term cars are in high demand.

Is insurance included in a long-term rental?
